Duties of the CVAC 1st VP (Commissioner of Baseball)

It shall be the duty of the 1st Vice President to:

  1. Perform the duties of the President in his short-term absence or disability.
  2. Serve as Commissioner of Baseball
  3. Immediately assume the position of president pro tem upon confirmation of vacancy of the office of president.
  4. Administer CVAC's baseball program in accordance with the adopted bylaws, the CVAC Ground Rules manual and any additional rules as may be in effect by the club or PONY Baseball, Inc.
  5. Supervise, manage and assist the individual baseball and softball league commissioners as necessary.
  6. Annually conduct confidential background checks of all coaches, assistant coaches and team managers through use of the Washington State Patrol's WATCH (Washington Access to Criminal History) Program.
  7. Preside over the executive board, in following the provisions of these bylaws, to fill the vacated office of president.
  8. Is an authorized co-signer of disbursement forms and checks drawn upon the regular financial account of CVAC.
  9. Assist the President as necessary when called upon.
  10. Be CVAC’s Commissioner of Baseball, Tournament Director and Tournament Representative to Pony Baseball Northwest.
