COLT/PALOMINO 18U enables the high school student-athlete to fine tune their skills before advancing into open competition. It's not required to play high school baseball to play at this level. It introduce the players to the regulation Baseball and pitching distances. Student-Athletes are subject to pitching limitations designed to protect their arms.

We may divide players into Colt (16U) and Palomino (18U) play, or to combine those age groups into a single league.

Basic Information

Base length - 90 feet
Pitching distance - 60 feet, 6 inches

Practices begin March 9 for those not on a high school squad, working out with Pony teams, but not participating in games.

Games begin mid-May after the regular high school baseball season has finished. Two-four games a week, traveling around King and southern Snohomish County. Home games played at Lindbergh High School.

CVAC has the lowest pay to play fees than any other baseball league around. Each player is required to participate in the league fundraiser in late March to mid-April. Players are required to sell 50-$1 raffle tickets. Teams also work together to find a sponsor.
