Our 12U age group, is designed to offer players an affordable opportunity to participate in a more competitive level of play, with a longer season and the ability to play against other local talent in tournaments across Western Washington.

With this level of play there will be more structure involved in the formation of the team and commitment from players. Below are the details for the new team:

The 12U team has open spots for the 2022 season and are holding try-outs this August. Please contact [email protected] to schedule an assessment for your player.

Cascade Vista Baseball will form one Select team in the 12U division. The team will consist of 12-13 players selected by coaches. This new team will only be assembled if coaches feel that a competitive team can be formed based upon caliber of tryout talent.

Training begins in early January. The team will receive a higher level of instruction developing core skills including pitching, defense, base running, and hitting. Full team practices will start in March, two to three days per week and will be determined by the coaching staff after tryouts and team assembly. Indoor practices may be held (due to weather) at GoTime athletics in the Georgetown area of Seattle. Head Coach, Marc Steiner is trained and certified by USA Baseball.

Tournament play can begin as early as March and run through August. as final tournament dates are to be decided. The goal for this 12U team is to play between three to five tournaments. Tournament offerings will be located within the state of Washington to help minimize the travel cost on our player's families. More details on tournament locations, specific dates, and costs associated will be communicated as soon as possible after the forming of the team.
