Cascade Vista Baseball Est. 1963


 is an instructional league to teach 8 and under players the fundamentals of baseball with Coach Pitch and/or Machine Pitch and Player Pitch. (Player pitch is offered in the latter part of the season once the player proves they have the proper mechanics.)

PINTO 8U builds upon the skills learned in the Shetland 6U league and ready's the player for the next level Mustang 10U (player pitch). Skills include introduction to catching, basic hitting mechanics, basic fly ball receiving and basic ground ball receiving, situation awareness for offense and defense. This is also the first time players wanting to learn to pitch will learn pitching mechanics including proper fastball. No other pitches will be taught (curveball, changeup).

Basic Information:

Base length - 60 feet

Bats - new for 2019 all bats must have the USA Bat stamp. No tee-ball bats will be allowed. Approved list - here. The league does supply each team with a bat and a few helmets, its recommended each player have their own helmet.
